High Vocational Diploma (HVD) Scholarship Program

The High Vocational Diploma (HVD) Scholarship Program aims to build a highly skilled workforce in Southeast Asia by offering technical education to youth from ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) countries, while promoting cross-border collaboration and supporting sustainable industrial development.
HVD Scholarship program is supported by PTT Group (PTT, PTTEP, PTTGC, TOP, and GPSC), in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Science and Technology. It offers a fully funded 2-year diploma course at IRPC Technical College in Thailand, designed to equip students with in-demand technical skills.
The program has been implemented as a nationwide initiative with strong support from the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Science and Technology. To date, a total of over two hundred students from ASEAN countries have received scholarships across 11 intakes. So far, 197 students have successfully graduated. The program continues to play a key role in advancing skill development—particularly among Myanmar students—and in strengthening the region’s skilled workforce to meet industry demands.
