Monastery Support Project

The Monastery Support Project aims to preserve religious heritage, promote cultural values, and strengthen community ties by supporting Buddhist institutions and traditions.

Recognizing the central role of Buddhism in Myanmar’s cultural fabric, the project supports the maintenance of monasteries, organizes annual Kathina Robe Offering Ceremonies, and distributes Dhamma books to schools to sustain Buddhist teachings for younger generations.

By preserving sacred spaces and engaging with local stakeholders, the initiative promotes spiritual well-being, cultural continuity, and a deeper sense of connection between PTTEP and the communities. The project engages monks, students, and local residents across various villages, fostering mutual respect and reinforcing PTTEP Myanmar Asset’s image as a culturally sensitive and socially responsible partner.
