Social Development Projects in Myanmar
Technical Capability Development / Vocational Education Project

PTTEP Myanmar Asset is dedicated to empowering communities through human resource development as a key component of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. The initiative aims to address the skilled labor gap in Myanmar by providing access to technical and vocational training, enabling sustainable employment and income-generating opportunities for local communities.
PTTEP Myanmar Asset has implemented a wide range of Automobile Mechanic Training, Welding Training in collaboration with local and international partners as well as Community-Based Vocational Programs such as sewing, hairdressing, motorcycle repair, and also provided necessary support to the Singapore Myanmar Vocational Training Institute (SMVTI) in Yangon to deliver international-standard vocational education.
Recognizing the need for region-specific skills, the program later expanded to support the local economy in the Ayeyarwady Region. New courses were introduced in tailoring, beautician training, fisheries, and environmental conservation.
Over 3,000 individuals have benefitted from these training programs, gaining practical skills that support career development. This long-standing commitment highlights PTTEP Myanmar Asset’s role as a trusted partner in education, workforce development, and social advancement in Myanmar.
