Social Development Projects in Myanmar
Public Healthcare & Humanitarian Support Project

PTTEP Myanmar Asset is dedicated to improving public health and well-being for approximately 50,000 residents in rural communities. Through regular mobile health clinics, maternal and child health campaigns, non-communicable disease awareness programs, and preventive care activities, the company delivers essential healthcare services directly to project villages every two weeks. Specialist medical tours further expand access to advanced care.
Adapting to challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing political instability, PTTEP Myanmar Asset continues to provide critical support in partnership with the Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS). This includes delivering medical equipment, supporting disaster management efforts, and strengthening healthcare services to build long-term community resilience.
The Mobile Health Check Initiative has reached over 24,000 individuals in the Kanbauk Area, Tanintharyi Region, bringing primary healthcare to remote communities with limited access due to poor transportation and infrastructure. Services include general health checkups and eye cataract surgeries, ensuring that even the most underserved populations receive the medical care they need.
These ongoing efforts not only enhance local health outcomes but also reflect PTTEP Myanmar Asset’s deep commitment to addressing community needs and building strong stakeholder relationships during the exploration phase of its operations.
