PTTEP Myanmar Asset’s 100 Smiles Project wins The Golden Globe Tigers Award 2020

Myanmar, November 23 2020 - PTTEP Myanmar Asset is the proud winner of the Golden Globe Tigers Award 2020 for Excellence & Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility under the category of Concern for Health. The Golden Globe Tigers award recognizes "TIGERS" in CSR & social innovation, education & academic across organizations who believe that excellence and perfection have no limit.
The award was received for 100 Smiles CSR Project launched in 2019 to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of PTTEP Operations in Myanmar. PTTEP Myanmar Asset donated USD 100,000 to cover the transformative surgery of 100 children suffering from cleft lip and cleft palate in partnering with Alliance for Smiles and Victoria Hospital. The 100 Smiles Project not only fixed the birth defect but it gave these children a fresh start in life by promoting confidence and allowing them grow into healthy and confident individuals they are meant to be in society.
PTTEP Myanmar Asset’s General Manager, Mr. Dittapon Soothi-O-Soth remarked on the winning that “We are honored to be awarded the Golden Globe Tigers Award for Excellence & Leadership in Corporate Social Responsibility under the category of Concern for Health, for our 100 Smiles Project. This recognition reflects our commitment to promote quality of life of the local community where we serve. We are very pleased with the results of this cooperation with Alliance for Smiles, knowing that it allowed the children to live their lives with confident smiles. PTTEP Myanmar Asset will constantly review meaningful initiatives like this and we are open to new opportunities that can improve the well-being of the community.”
